WEEK 3 MAYA



This week we do a bread on MAYA, It’s more interesting model process. We use the sphere to made the bread shape then subdivided it, and then we adjusted to the shape of the suitable bread by means of a lattice. In the next step we open the UV editor to keep the UV consistent. For to made the half bread, we cut it by the cube. Then it’s very cool part, we added the bread texture but we also need to made this bread like real. so we use sculpting tools to made the bread have a perfect look.

On Tuesday we learned how to made the tap. We started with the end of the tap. We use extrusion tool to created the whole part of tap. After that, we created several cylindrical polygons and a spherical polygon to be the ‘head'(idk how to describe the top part of the tap) of the tap.Afterwards I added a pre-defined plastic material to the model, which was also given a roughness. Finally ambient lighting was added and rendered.
