2022FMP Ideas
After learning about blender last term, I found its operation, shortcuts and the whole production process more suitable for me than maya, so I decided to continue to use blender for fmp production.
Throughout my ma studies, I realised that I liked the shaping of stylised scenes. And because I have always been very passionate about oriental elements and stylised scenes in the ancient style, I decided to make a short film based on some oriental elements.
When Christos asked me what this project meant to me in particular I was struggling for a long time to find the deeper meaning of the work.As I was looking for reference images for my project I discovered more and more my love for oriental elements. After watching some old-fashioned films I got some inspiration and I realised that what I liked was the feeling I got when I saw the scenes made up of these elements. I wanted to use some of my favourite oriental elements such as ancient architecture, pavilions, temples, lanterns, oil paper umbrellas and promenades.Combined with music, lighting and editing to create a dream-like feeling.
